Christmas 2009

Christmas morning, the kids were all excited. They had a ball opening presents and playing with their stuff. Hannah was thrilled to get all that nail polish, and couldn't wait to try it out on herself and Lydia. What are little sisters for? She loves that little sister, and that little sister loves her to pieces too! Cy got boy boy boy stuff, which completely thrilled him. Lydia is still all about Dora, and she got a Dora purse, Dora pajamas, and some other stuff.

These children were extremely blessed this Christmas!

Hannah and Cy decorated a gingerbread house together. (I think maybe Lydia kinda sorta pretended to help a little?) They worked together, and did a great job. TEAMWORK

Cy really enjoyed the gun Aunt M and Uncle Charles gave him for Christmas.

Hannah and the girls had fun at the Girl Scouts Christmas Pajama Party. They did a craft, had their nails done, watched a Christmas movie, and had snacks. They had a lot of fun!

The kids had a good time posing for the Christmas card pictures. They got quite silly in some of them. But God has blessed us with sweet and beautiful children!

Hannah and Mommy had a good time at our annual Mother/Daughter Luncheon at Gainesridge. The whole place was beautifully decorated for Christmas, and it was fun to dress up too.

Cy is 6 years old!

Cy had a Lightning McQueen (Cars) birthday party at the Pine City Park in Jackson. The kids had a blast!!! (Mommy made the cake).

Fun in the Sun

We got to go to the beach twice this summer. It was so nice. Just relaxing in the breeze, playing in the ocean, collecting seashells and "clamshells", building sandcastles, kayaking, reading, shopping, and eating. What a way to spend a vacation! Oh, and we did schoolwork too!!!

The National Museum of Aviation

We went to the National Museum of Aviation in Pensacola. What a cool field trip! The kids had a ball playing in the jets and helicopters and all.

The kids loved the beach so much so that they did not want to leave and go home. Just live at the beach!!! When we came home after the first week, Lydia was just devastated. She just knew we were leaving for a short time only to return to the "beach houst". Boy, when reality hit her, it was like a freight train. She was not a happy camper!!! (Or should I say an unhappyt beach bum?) I am really glad that they enjoyed it so much.
